Tailored for office and intra-organization use, LAN Messenger enables seamless text chat, high-priority alerting, and file sharing without needing an internet connection or external servers. The application’s intuitive interface provides every team member with a list of active users detected automatically over the LAN. Users can send instant messages, predefined signals, and files to individuals or broadcast messages to all available contacts. For urgent situations, LAN Messenger supports high-priority signals that trigger prominent alert dialogs on recipients’ screens, even if the application is minimized, ensuring critical messages are never missed. LAN Messenger runs silently in the background and minimizes to the system tray, remaining out of the way until needed. Notifications for standard messages appear as native Windows toasts, bringing timely updates without causing distractions. The tray menu provides convenient options to restore, quit, or access key features, and the application can be configured to start automatically with Windows login for always-on availability.
